Toning Conditioner with Black Pigment for Platinum and Icy Blonde Hair
Milk Shake Icy Blond Conditioner is a toning conditioner for platinum, bleached and very light blonde hair. Z.one Concept builds the formula around a black pigment (CI 77266) instead of the traditional purple approach — designed to neutralize yellow, orange and bronze undertones in a single step while milk and quinoa proteins plus argan, grape seed and rice oils condition the lengths.
Why Choose It?
- Black pigment (CI 77266) plus Acid Violet 43 neutralize yellow, orange and bronze undertones in platinum and bleached blondes
- Hydrolyzed Milk Protein and Hydrolyzed Quinoa support the inner structure of lightened hair
- Argan, grape seed, rice bran and avocado oils add lightweight conditioning without heaviness
- Dwell time can be extended for a stronger toning result on porous, more lifted hair
- Behentrimonium and Cetrimonium Chloride deliver slip and detangling for fragile blonde lengths
Best For
Platinum, bleached, highlighted and very light natural blondes that pull yellow, orange or bronze between salon visits. Especially useful on porous, lifted lengths where the dwell time can be extended to push toning further. Not vegan: contains Hydrolyzed Milk Protein.
Pair with the matching Icy Blond Shampoo from Milk Shake for a complete cool-toning routine on platinum and bleached blondes.
- Shampoo and rinse hair, then squeeze out excess water — hair should be damp, not dripping.
- Apply a generous amount of Icy Blond Conditioner evenly through the lengths and ends.
- Comb through to distribute the pigment uniformly so the toning result stays even.
- Leave on for 3 to 5 minutes for a standard tone, or longer for a bolder cool-toning effect on porous hair.
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water until the water runs clear.
Tips
- Wear gloves when applying — the black pigment can temporarily stain hands and nails.
- Once the desired icy tone is reached, alternate with a non-toning conditioner from the Milk Shake range to maintain results without over-depositing pigment.
- On very porous bleached hair, start with a shorter dwell time and build up — pigment uptake is faster on more lifted strands.
